EuroHockey Championships 2025 Mönchengladbach – Europe’s biggest field hockey party returns!
From August 8 to 17, 2025, the European Men's and Women's Hockey Championships will take place at the Hockeypark in Mönchengladbach. Eight male and eight female European teams will play for the European crown in Germany's largest field hockey stadium. After the 2023 European Field Hockey Championships, the German Hockey Federation is now hosting another major international field hockey tournament in Germany and Mönchengladbach. At the EuroHockey Championships 2025, the European field hockey champions will be determined in a total of 40 men's and women's matches. And not only that – the winners will qualify directly for the 2026 World Championships in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Up to 100,000 fans can watch the tournament at the Hockeypark Mönchengladbach.
European field hockey royalty awaits the fans. The exact match schedule will be published and updated on the homepage of the EuroHockey Championships in due course. What’s important for German fans: in the group phase from August 8 to August 13, there will be one game of a German national team every day. The men's and women's teams will alternate daily.
In addition to top-class field hockey, fans will be offered much more: the FanVillage will be the central meeting point for all field hockey fans outside of the games.
Delicious food and drinks will be served in the hospitality area and the kids’ zone is the perfect place for our youngest visitors to enjoy a variety of great activities.
A hockey pitch, various game stations and an arts and crafts corner will ensure great fun and action for the children – an exciting atmosphere is guaranteed!
Additionally, the official partners of the EuroHockey Championships 2025 will present themselves with stands and shops, so every visitor can browse for hockey gear and other souvenirs among the wide selection of exhibitors.
Celebrating Team Spirit
Celebrate Germany's most successful team sport! And keep your fingers crossed for the German national field hockey teams live on site! The teams are counting on your support. In 2011, the men's team won the European Championship title at home, but unfortunately could not repeat their success in 2023. Both the “Danas” – the ladies’ team – and the “Honamas” – the men’s team – still have a score to settle and will be back in the hunt for the gold medal. So get your tickets quickly and don't miss a game.
