As a solo artist, he was eliminated early, but later brought back to join the boy band, One Direction alongside Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

In 2015, the band revealed they would be going on hiatus in 2016.
As a solo artist

The 2022 Love On Tour shows include dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow, as well as a headline performance at Californian music festival Coachella.
