Sanelisiwe Twisha, known professionally as Moonchild Sanelly, is a South African musician and dancer, born around January 6, 1985. She is renowned for her signature blue-colored hair and her unique music genre, "Future ghetto funk." Originally from Port Elizabeth, Moonchild Sanelly first gained attention in Durban's poetry and music scene before moving to Johannesburg to further her career.

Her music has reached international audiences, with performances at festivals like SXSW in Austin, Texas, and Primavera Sound in Barcelona. In August 2018, she toured Europe with the South African hip hop group Die Antwoord.

Moonchild Sanelly began performing in 2006 at Durban University of Technology, focusing on poetry and hip hop. She featured regularly on Gagasi FM's weekend show, Poetry with King Siso. In mid-2020, she signed with Transgressive Records and released her studio album, Rabulapha! in March 2015, which earned her a nomination for Best Alternative Album at the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards. Her music caught the attention of Red Bull through an EP with DJ Shimza.

In 2019, she was featured on Beyoncé's The Lion King: The Gift album in the song "My Power" alongside Busiswa and Nija. She also released a mini-album, Nude EP, in late 2019. In 2020, she collaborated with various artists, including Zingah and JazziDisciples, and was featured on Gorillaz's album Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez.

Moonchild Sanelly released the single "Yebo Teacher" in June 2021 and announced her feature on the FIFA 2022 soundtrack later that year. She also released the single "Demon" with Sadnightdynamite in October 2021. In February 2022, she began a career in adult entertainment and announced her second studio album, Phases, set for release on June 10, 2022. The album, featuring the single "Cute" with British rapper Trillary Banks, was released as scheduled.

Moonchild Sanelly's innovative style and cross-genre collaborations have made her a prominent figure in the South African and international music scenes.
