Mt. Joy is a Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based indie folk-rock band known for soulful lyrics, dynamic instrumentation, and genre-blending melodies. Formed by lifelong friends Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper, Mt. Joy began as a passion project that gained traction with the viral success of their debut single, "Astrovan." With Quinn’s heartfelt vocals and Cooper’s intricate guitar work, the band soon grew to include Michael Byrnes, Sotiris Eliopoulos, and Jackie Miclau, adding depth and versatility to their sound.

Their self-titled debut album featured the hit “Silver Lining,” establishing Mt. Joy as a powerful presence in the indie music scene. The band’s follow-up album, Rearrange Us, recorded with acclaimed producer Tucker Martine, delves into themes of change and resilience through tracks like "Bug Eyes" and "Every Holiday," showcasing a unique blend of indie rock, folk, and even soulful influences.

Influenced by artists like Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead, Mt. Joy’s music resonates with fans of all ages, earning them coveted spots at major festivals and tours with acts like The Lumineers.
