Formed in Dublin in 1983, My Bloody Valentine is renowned for their innovative approach to music. The band's lineup includes Kevin Shields (vocals, guitar), Bilinda Butcher (vocals, guitar), Debbie Googe (bass), and Colm Ó Cíosóig (drums). Their debut album, Isn't Anything (1988), introduced their unique blend of noise pop and dream pop, while their follow-up, Loveless (1991), is considered a landmark in alternative rock, influencing countless artists across genres.
After a lengthy hiatus, the band reunited in 2007 and released their third studio album, m b v, in 2013. The album received critical acclaim for its experimental sound and marked a significant return for the band.
