Pulled Apart By Horses are a British alternative rock band from Leeds, known for combining explosive riffs, punk energy and a fearless approach to live performance. Formed in 2008, the band quickly established themselves as an exciting presence in the UK rock scene, developing a sound that draws on alternative rock, post hardcore, punk and heavier influences. Their loud, unpredictable style and energetic songwriting have helped them build a loyal following through records, festivals and extensive touring.
The band's self titled debut album introduced their ferocious sound to a wider audience, while releases including Tough Love, Blood, The Haze and Reality Cheques have demonstrated their willingness to evolve without losing their trademark intensity. Tracks such as "High Five, Swan Dive, Nose Dive", "V.E.N.O.M." and "Hot Squash" capture the combination of sharp guitar work, memorable hooks and chaotic energy that has become central to the Pulled Apart By Horses sound.
Pulled Apart By Horses concerts are where the band's music reaches its most immediate and physical form. Their reputation has been built around energetic performances, powerful guitars and the close connection between band and crowd that suits their uncompromising songs. Whether playing an intimate venue or appearing on a festival stage, Pulled Apart By Horses deliver the kind of loud and exhilarating rock show designed to be experienced in person.
