Scooby Doo

Took my 7 year old grandson to see Scooby Doo at Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre in Newcastle - I wasnt really looking forward to it, but it was great - thoroughly enjoyed the show. The acting was great. The characters were just like the TV characters. There wss Scooby Doo toy for sale - this was my grandsons highlight - he loved it. Although the Theatre needs a bit updating, we enjoyed the experience.

Shaggy was great at the voice! We were previously worried that he wouldnt get it right, but the actor was perfect! Songs were good too and it was nice to see the cast come down to the seating area for some audience interaction. We had travelled from Ayrshire to see the show and were not disappointed. Only downfall was Daphne and Velmas voices turning English at some points, making them sound very New Yorky! Would have been nice if the cast had came out at the end for pictures.

My granddaughter aged 6 years said that she had the best day of her life. She loves Scooby Doo and really enjoyed seeing all of the characters at close quarters. She attended the show with her parents who both said the show was excellent.
