Sean Lock (born 22 April 1963) is an English comedian and actor. He began his comedy career as a stand-up comedian. He won the British Comedy Award in 2000 in the category of Best Live Comic, and was nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award. He is also well known for his appearances on television and radio. He has written material for such comics as Bill Bailey, Lee Evans and Mark Lamarr and was voted the 55th greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups in 2007 and again in the updated 2010 list as the 19th greatest stand-up comic.

Stressful start to evening, but good

Despite booking months ago for this, when we arrived at The Apollo, we were told our tickets were not valid and we had to join a huge queue to re-validate them. It was my daughters 21st birthday treat, and I was worried they wouldnt let our family of 7 in. Everyone was complaining and some people were shouting at the staff which was horrible. Love Sean on the box so took my 2 boys (16 and 18 also fans) to Hammersmith.
It was a bit tame and he never got the room going..very hit and miss.
There were other people laughing (tho few belly laughs) ...not sure what went wrong.
Old fashioned themes with a few expletives chucked in just isnt enough I dont think.
So sorry ...really wanted to love this.
