Bruce Fielder, known professionally as Sigala, is an English DJ and record producer born on November 1, 1992. Raised in Norfolk, England, Fielder discovered his passion for music at a young age and honed his skills on the piano. He attended Reepham High School, Norwich City College, and later earned a BA honours degree in commercial music from the University of Westminster.
After university, Fielder embarked on a career in music production, initially working with unsigned bands before transitioning to mixing and producing for others. Adopting the stage name Sigala, he gained widespread recognition with his debut single "Easy Love" in 2015, which topped the UK Singles Chart. This success propelled him into the spotlight, leading to a string of hit singles including "Sweet Lovin'" and "Say You Do".
Sigala's career continued to flourish with collaborations featuring acclaimed artists such as Craig David, Ella Eyre, and Paloma Faith. In 2018, he released his debut album "Brighter Days", which achieved commercial success in the UK.
Despite setbacks and delays, Sigala remained prolific, releasing a series of successful singles including "Wish You Well" featuring Becky Hill and "Lasting Lover" with James Arthur. In 2021 and 2022, he continued to collaborate with prominent artists such as Rita Ora, David Guetta, and Sam Ryder.
While his second album "Every Cloud" faced challenges and ultimately was scrapped, Sigala remains an influential figure in the electronic music scene, known for his catchy tunes and vibrant productions.
