Leeds University's Stylus venue opened its doors in 2001 and became the British Entertainment and Dance Association's Student Union Club of the Year 2002 - 2003.

Stylus hosts a plethora of different club nights and has also featured live performances from artists as diverse Ms Dynamite, Public Enemy, Carl Cox, Kid Koala, The Kooks, Clor and John Digweed.
The Leeds University Union (LUU) is also the home of the legendary The Refectory venue and the smaller Mine venue.
