All paying disabled guests can bring a carer free of charge on both the London Eye and the London Eye River Cruise. Both the London Eye and London Eye River Cruises are full accessible for disabled guests, with wheelchair access and disabled toilets.
Avoid the queues
We provide a Priority service for elderly and disabled guests. Please note that wheelchair access starts at the beginning of the boarding ramps. If you would like to use this service, please ask a team member when you are at the London Eye and they will help you.

Arriving with non-disabled guests? If you have several non-disabled guests with you, we may not be able to Fast Track the whole group. We may ask you to wait near the boarding platform entrance until the rest of your group reaches you in the queue.
To avoid queues, you could also visit at a quieter time. Weekdays in school term are less busy than holidays, particularly earlier in the mornings and after 4.00pm.
Hearing and visual impairment
Guide dogs are allowed on the London Eye for blind and visually impaired guests. Guests who are deaf or have a hearing impairment may wish to purchase our guidebook or London Eye Experience Guide. These guides point out what to look out for on your London Eye experience. On our London Eye River Cruises, T-loops systems are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin.

It’s easy to get on and off the London Eye if you use a wheelchair or have walking difficulties. When you reach the embarkation point, the London Eye is slowed down or stopped to make boarding simple.
Members of staff will always be on hand to assist guests, but we are unable to physically lift guests into and out of capsules. If you think you will need special assistance boarding your London Eye capsule, bring a carer to help. Their ticket is free.
Please note safety concerns mean only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule on the London Eye – and a maximum of eight in total at any one time. It’s a very good idea to book your wheelchair space in advance, especially if your London Eye Experience is during a school holidays or a weekend.

Wheelchair loan service
We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan at the customer service desk inside our ticket office in County Hall. Please note that this service is provided on a 'first come first served' basis, is subject to availability and requires a deposit of £350.00 using a credit card. It can not be pre-booked. These wheelchairs are for use solely at the London Eye for the duration of the experience and can not be taken off site.
Disabled access
How to reach the London Eye by car There are three car parks located on the South Bank, within a five minute walk of the London Eye. These include Golden Jubilee Bridges, under Hayward Gallery and under the Royal National Theatre. These car parks all have disabled parking bays. Please note that these car parks are not operated by the London Eye and that use of these parking bays, would be subject to their terms and conditions.
Dropping off groups at the London Eye
If you are bringing a group by coach or by disabled minibus, you will need to book a coach parking bay in advance of your arrival. This service is free, but space is limited. Your booking gives you twenty minutes to drop off and pick up your group. You are not permitted to use the coach parking bays whilst your group visits the London Eye.

From Waterloo mainline train station, wheelchair users should head to the Waterloo International terminal, using the lifts to access the ground floor. Having exited Waterloo International, follow the signs to the London Eye. At York Road, use the pedestrian crossing to your immediate right. Go straight ahead to Chicheley Street and you'll see the London Eye in front of you. Go straight down the path next to the grass areas. Disabled access to County Hall is on your left as you reach the building.
From Westminster tube, take the exit for Westminster pier. Follow signs to Westminster Bridge. Disabled access to Westminster bridge is sign posted. Cross over Westminster Bridge and continue going straight past County Hall. Turn left down Belvedere Road and left again at the end of County Hall at the edge of the grass areas.
