Venue
The Garrick Theatre is a West End theatre, located on Charing Cross Road, in the City of Westminster. It opened on 24 April 1889 with The Profligate, a play by Arthur Wing Pinero. In its early years, it appears to have specialised in the performance of melodrama, and today the theatre is a receiving house for a variety of productions. The theatre is named for David Garrick, considered the most influential Shakespearean actor.

Staff are happy to dog-sit and can look after a maximum of 3 guide dogs per performance. They will be looked after in the stage door area or in the manager’s office.
Disabled Access
An usher will take you through the gates to the left of the building to an alternative entrance which leads to the Dress Circle. 1 step down to 2 spaces for wheelchair users at E13-15. You will be positioned at a slight angle and the view of the top of the stage is restricted by approx. 15%. Transfer seating available to aisle seats for wheelchairs and scooters (4 transferees max).
Toilets
No steps to the women’s to the right of the foyer bar, through 2 doors (approx. 84cm wide). This is usable by someone able to leave their wheelchair with assistance.
