Trains

Victoria Train Station, just 100m from the theatre, serves most of the southern region rail network between London and the South coast and is a central interchange for other transport links. London Underground Victoria Underground Station is just 100m.

Tubes

fFrom Victoria tubes run on the District and Circle Line and the Victoria Line.

On Foot

The theatre is also easily accessible on foot from stations including St James’s Park, Pimlico, Sloane Square and Westminster, audience members may find it easier to walk from these areas. Tourist attractions including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Cathedral are within easy walking distance of the theatre.

Cycle

Cycling is another popular option, with docking stations for Barclays Cycle Hire located within a short distance of the Victoria Palace.

River

Alternatively, if you would like to take in a view of the world-famous South Bank on your way to the theatre, there are river piers with regular ferries within a half hour walk of Victoria; these are situated at Westminster and Millbank.

Parking
There are single yellow lines and meter parking within the vicinity. The Q-Park car park in Cumberland Street offers a 50% discount to theatregoers, on production of a properly validated parking ticket and theatre ticket. Tickets may be validated in the cloakroom in the foyer of the Victoria Palace. The theatre's main entrance is on a red route.

Patrons with Disabilities
We have prepared a Visual Story for children and young adults with sensory sensitivities. It is intended to help them prepare for a new experience and to become familiar with the new surroundings. We also have a Sensory Synopsis which some patrons may find useful to familiarise themselves with loud and unexpected noises during the performance. We would also recommend our 360 Virtual Tour as another way of preparing for your visit.

Stairs
The Victoria Palace Theatre is situated on the north side of Victoria Street opposite Victoria Station. There is a 3cm step up through swing doors from the street to the main foyer, where you will find the box office is on the left. Staircases have handrails on both sides and steps are highlighted. There are 4 steps down from the foyer to the stalls auditorium, and 28 steps up from the foyer to the dress circle where there are two steps between rows. Access to the Grand Circle is not suitable for patrons with walking difficulties.

Hearing-impaired patrons
There is an infrared system working throughout the auditorium with both loop and conventional type headsets. Headsets must be booked in advance and a deposit is required. Upon arrival, please speak to a member of staff to receive your headset. Occasionally performances are Captioned & Sign Interpreted.

Guide Dogs
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are permitted in the auditorium, and staff can dog sit by prior arrangement. Dogs will be looked after in the manager's office. Some performances are Audio Described.

Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair access is via the second exit in Allington Street, which is to the west or left of the theatre; please ask a member of staff to open the door. There are no steps from Allington Street to the back of the stalls. There are two spaces for wheelchairs within the stalls, P36 and M36 with seating for companions in the same row. It is possible to transfer from a wheelchair to any aisle seat and up to four wheelchairs may be stored per performance.

Drinks
There are 15 steps up from the foyer to the dress circle bar, and 15 steps down to the rear stalls bar. Both have moveable seats. Drinks in plastic cups may be taken into the auditorium. There is a 3cm step through swing doors from Victoria Street to the foyer bar, from where there is access to unadapted toilet facilities, a merchandise kiosk and the cloakroom.

Adapted Toilets
There is an adapted toilet just inside the Allington Street side entrance. Please ask a member of staff to unlock it if you do not carry a RADAR key.
