Adam Hills (born 10 July 1970) is an Australian comedian and television presenter. He has appeared on Australian and British television and is best known for his role hosting the Australian ABC music trivia show Spicks and Specks. He has been nominated for a Perrier Comedy Award and Gold Logie Award.
He began performing as a stand-up comedian in 1989 at the age of 19, and since 1997 has produced ten solo shows which have toured internationally. He has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Montreal Just for Laughs festival, earning three consecutive Perrier Award nominations for his Edinburgh shows in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
In 2002, he scored a minor hit with his single "Working Class Anthem", in which he sang the lyrics of the Australian National Anthem to the tune of "Working Class Man", a famous song by Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes.

I took my girlfriend to see Adam Hills live. We are both huge fans of The Last Leg and were fortunate enough to see Josh Widdecombe live in Edinburgh this year.
There appeared to be a slight mishap with the advertising of the start time as it was supposed to be 7.30, but was advertised at 8.30. We turned up at the original time and at 7.45, Adam himself came out to apologise for the delay - which was good of him, a lot of comics would not have done this.

Due to refurbishment of the Hammersmith Apollo, our seats were reallocated; this was not a problem. An administrative error meant that the replacement tickets had a different start time than our original tickets, which caused a lot of confusion among the audience.
The evening was great fun. To fill the gap caused by the ticket confusion, we had 20 minutes of Josh Widdicome which was a lovely surprise. Adam Hills delayed starting his gig to make sure that everybody had arrived.
